Bacon Quiche $0.00


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. bacon, crispy fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1/2 c. yellow Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 c. half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • Dash of red pepper for color
  • 1 pie crust, not baked

DIRECTIONS:

  • Prepare pie crust. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and cheese.
  • Combine eggs, half and half, salt, pepper and red pepper. Mix well.
  • Pour egg mixture over bacon and cheese. Cook uncovered in 425
  • degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees
  • and remain cooking for about 30 minutes longer or until knife
  • inserted in middle comes out clean. Let set 5 minutes before
  • cutting. This is good for a change in your menu. Try sausage
  • instead of bacon also, or combine the two.
