Cheese Onion Pie $0.00


INGREDIENTS:

  • 9" pie crust
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cubed
  • 1-2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz. Swiss or Gruyere cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt

DIRECTIONS:

  • Line pie pan with pastry and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Fry bacon cubes, add onions and simmer until tender but not brown.
  • Put into pie crust and cover with cheese. Beat eggs and milk
  • together. Add seasonings and pour over ingredients in pie shell.
  • Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
