Clam Sauce For Spaghetti $0.00


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
  • 1/4 c. milk or cream
  • 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1/8 tsp. turmeric
  • 1/8 tsp. thyme
  • 1 (6 oz.) can clams
  • 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • Dash of hot sauce or Tabasco sauce

DIRECTIONS:

  • Combine butter, onions and garlic in saucepan and saute until
  • onions are tender. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; stir to a
  • smooth paste. Gradually stir in clam juice. Add milk, parsley
  • flakes, thyme, and turmeric. Cook until mixture thickens. Stir in
  • clams and Parmesan cheese. Cook until mixture boils. Serve over
  • cooked spaghetti or linguine noodles while hot.
