INGREDIENTS:

• --CRUST:--
• 2 lbs. hamburger
• 1/2 c. tomato sauce
• 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
• 1/4 c. onion
• 1/2 c. bread crumbs
• 1 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/4 tsp. pepper
• 1/4 tsp. oregano
• --FILLING:--
• 1 1/3 c. quick cooking rice
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
• 1 c. water
• 1 c. grated cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine beef, tomato sauce, green
• pepper, onion, bread crumbs and seasonings. Pat mixture into bottom
• and sides of greased 9 inch pie pan. Combine rice, salt, sauce,
• water and 3/4 cup cheese. Spoon rice mixture into crust. Cover
• with foil and bake 25 to 30 minutes. Remove foil and top with
• remaining cheese. Bake for 10 to 15 more minutes.
