INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 lg. (29 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 3 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp. dried onions
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. chili powder
  • 3 pkgs. chili mix
  • 2 cans kidney beans with liquid
  • 2 cans pinto beans with liquid
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • Cayenne pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS:

  • Put tomatoes in blender to liquefy (10 seconds). Pour into large
  • pot. Add sauce, onions, garlic powder, chili powder, and chili mix.
  • Bring to boil; simmer and stir often. Brown meat - drain and add
  • to chili. Simmer about two hours. Do not cover. (Chili will
  • thicken faster.) Add cayenne for hotness.
