INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 (3 oz.) cakes cream cheese
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder--CHEESE FILLING:--1 c. dry cottage cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. lemon rind, grated
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

DIRECTIONS:

  • Mix all ingredients together. Roll out dough about 1/4 inch
  • thick. Cut into round shape. Place filling on top. Bake for 15 to
  • 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and place a
  • spoonful on each round dough.
