INGREDIENTS:

• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. butter or margarine4 eggs, slightly beaten, add to above
• mixture
• 3-4 tbsp. buttermilk
• 3 tsp. soda (scant)
• 3 c. flour
• 1 tsp. cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg
• 5-6 oz. whiskey (alcohol will cook
• out)
• 1 1/2 lbs. candied cherries
• 1 1/2 lbs. candied pineapple, chopped
• 1 box dates, cut up
• 1 box white raisins

DIRECTIONS:

• Mix and cream well; add: Combine flour, fruit, nuts and other
• ingredients; mix well. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
• Bake in 325 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes. Store in
